Snake bites !

I am going to ask to get snakebites next month, but im wondering, is it a good idea to get them in the winter? my friend said the piercings could get infected.

also how much would it cost for both piercings? and what is the age that you have to be to...

ok. a piercing can get infected at any time. dosen't matter which season it is lol you need to clean it how you are told, and you have to be 18 to get it done alone. if your under 18, then you need your mom or dad there with your birth certificate... I know it's stupid -.- just be sure to clean it

Got'a be 18 without gaurdian with you. If you have your parents with you then you dont need anything. They will listen and take your parents word for it.

my boyfriend had his done in the winter, with no problems. I have my cheecks and my philtrum pierced and they are fine in the cold too, just get cold bc the metal

The only problem I know with winter piercings is that if you live in an area where it gets very very cold. The metal can freeze and cause frostbite around the piercing.

If you are in a more tropical climate or one where you won't be in below freezing weather often go for it and get them done.

The season you get a piercing in doesn't matter. Infection won't be a problem as long as you get them done professionally and take care of them properly. The price will depend on the place and their standards so just call ahead of time that way you'll know what to expect. As far as age goes, in most places you have to be at least 18 years of age or older to get any piercing without parental consent. If your under 18 you have to have a parent or legal guardian there when you get the piercing(s) done so that they can sign forms/agree to everything.
