Im Not Sure About DC but In California They Have Yummy Smoothie Places Called JUICE IT UP JAMBA JUICE

Peacock cafe has slow service and is pricey (in my opinion) for what you get--smoothie is small and not very fresh- tasting, but will set you back $6.50 and about 20 min wait time.
