How to stop smoking

ok I smoke cig and im 17 I've been smokeing since I was 9 1/2 and my parents have cought me 3 times and I really need to quit for my health and I've tried nicrote gum and the pathches make me sick. what should I do.

U should use those smoking patches where if youll have the patch on and you smoke you get sick or sumtin..

yeha I've heardd of the pilsl and shot but I wouldnt try them cause if im around second hand smoke ill get sick from there nicoten anyways right??

why did you smoke when you were 9 1/2??? in the first place why dod you smoke? what did your parents say when they cought you? and how old where you when they did??

Perhaps you should consider talking to your doctor or nurse practitioner about the new medication called Chantix. It is a pill that you take twice every day, once in the morning and once in the evening. It stimulates the same part of the brain that gets the 'high' when you smoke a cigarette. After taking the med for a week, you are supposed to stop smoking. Honestly, after one week, I did not even want a cigarette. If you do smoke, or use a nicotine replacement, you might feel very nauseous. this medication has some side effects like general nausea after you take the pill, and very strange dreams. You should definately talk to your health care provider to see if you would be a candidate for that therapy. Many patients whom I have seen in the clinic have had good results with it. The one drawback is that it costs about one hundred dollars per month, and they recommend taking it for at least six months in order to stay quit. The good news is that it is now available on Pfizer's Share the Care program. You should see if there is a community health center in your area to help with the cost. You can find the closest center near you by going to the HRSA website and following the 'Find a Health Center' links.

do what I did figure out how much you smoke per week figure out the cost and if you can fit it in with other expenses but then I started doing other drugs and drinking more heavily but 1 by one I'm quiting it all

hello there theres two things you can try one was cigerest its gum all natural tabs and a muli vitamin no nicitein in it at all you can look it up on line and the best thing is its only 6.95 the first month .I took it three weeks it helped because the way it starts is you get gum in place of your cig and you graulaty cut down it works and its nicione free good luck
