im not sure if there are pills
but one thing that could help you stop is learning about a few of the 4000 chemicals that are in them

Fungicides and pesticides -- Cause many types of cancers and birth defects
Cadmium -- Linked to lung and prostate cancer.
Benzene -- Linked to leukemia.
Formaldehyde -- Linked to lung cancer.
Nickel -- Causes increased susceptibility to lung infections
Ammonia: Household cleaner
Angelica root extract: Known to cause cancer in animals
Arsenic: Used in rat poisons
Benzene: Used in making dyes, synthetic rubber
Butane: Gas; used in lighter fluid
Carbon monoxide: Poisonous gas
Cadmium: Used in batteries
Cyanide: Deadly poison
DDT: A banned insecticide
Ethyl Furoate: Causes liver damage in animals
Lead: Poisonous in high doses
Formaldehyde: Used to preserve dead specimens
Methoprene: Insecticide
Megastigmatrienone: Chemical naturally found in grapefruit juice
Maltitol: Sweetener for diabetics
Naphthalene: Ingredient in mothballs
Methyl isocyanate: Its accidental release killed 2000 people in Bhopal, India in 1984
Polonium: Cancer-causing radioactive element

as well as contributing to and causing many diseases and cancers
they lower your life expectancy
and prematurely age your skin and face
and if abused can leave you permanently infertile

It's not gonna work, Jaz. We all know smoking kills, but you may get hit by a truck tonight. Many smokers couldn't have cared less about the bad effects of smoking. Remembering them just annoys us, but it hardly changes anything.

You, Baby19942008 , will hardly be able to quit smoking unless you want it bad enough. If your desire to stop smoking becomes stronger than your desire to light a cigarette, you will absolutely quit smoking.

Best wishes!

I just quit chewing tobacco after doing it for 25 years, I didn't use a patch, I didn't use a pill- my object was to get away from nicotine altogether.

what I did- I made up my mind that I was going to quit, I accepted the REASONS WHY I wanted to quit,I accepted that I WAS GOING TO FEEL LIKE CRAP FOR AT LEAST 3 WEEKS OR SO UNTIL THE NICOTINE WAS COMPLETELY OUT OF MY SYSTEM and mentally prepared myself for that, I chose a day that I was going to start, when that day came around I quit and did not look back. COLD TURKEY- NO MORE NICOTINE IN ANY FORM- TOBACCO- PILL-PATCH-GUM- NOTHING. set your mind to it and you will be able to do the same thing without any of the crutches- as nobliano stated when your desire to quit is stronger than your need to smoke- you will be able to walk away from it.

accept that you are going to feel bad for a little while, inform people around you that you are going to be a little bit on edge , and why, for awhile. all of the tools to do it are within YOU, set your mind to do it and you will.

Yeah but the thing is, I want to quit so bad and I am depressed and that is like the only thing to do to calm me down is smoke.

That's only what you think. Indeed, that's what all of us, smokers, think. Get busy, my friend. Do something. It will help you overcome both smoking and depression.
