Why does my vagina smell?

OK I BELIEVE THAT LIKE SOME ONE SAID EARLIER THAT THE VAGINA DO HAVE IT OWN SMELL AND I BELIEVE THAT THE BACTERIA IN THE VAGINA IS INBALANCE. SHE SHOULD TRY TALKING TO THE DOCTOR AND DOUCHES REMOVE THAT PROTECTIVE LAYER OR SUBSTANCES THAT ARE IN THE VAGINA WHICH COULD RESULT IN A YEAST INFECTION.

YOUR BODY COULD ALSO BE REACTING TO THE FOOD YOU EAT, TRY CHANGING YOUR FOOD YOU EAT AND SEE WHAT HAPEN OK. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF.

Listen girl, I’m 20 and I know for a fact that your vagina has a smell to it. It’s only natural and every woman or girl that answered knows it. Don’t listen to the ones that have all this extra crap to say, they dont have the god damn right to tell you what you should or should not do. Just be safe and careful. And like someone said up there half of these females are fools anyway because they cant even use proper grammar and writing. Instead of telling you you’re too young to do this and do that they need to go the hell back to school. But good luck and just know your stuff like I said be safe and don’t let anyone tell you what to do. You can listen but they cant force you everyone learns their lessons in their own way.

Well im going to tell you like this im not your “MOTHER”. So im not going to jump down your neck about having sexual relations with your boyfriend cause every teenaged female are male tries it. But let me get to the main part it might be because you have sex and you don’t go clean yourself after. Your suppose to do that right after he let’s his little guys in you. Are you can try douching,washing with soap and water,cleaning cloths(Eve’s ceaning cloths)… don’t put nothing with purfume on it because that won’t make it no better than wht it is but other than that you should be aye okay… “TAKE MY ADVICE”and please have SAFE SEX cause KIDS are a HASSEL.

okay it’s actually from your period think does it happen a couple days to a week your so from your period??? if so, which is the case for me, it’s because of some of your period blood is still in your uterus and bacteria is building up but the smell will usually go away in a few days try doucing if that doesn’t work and the smell is consistent wash yourself with soap and water everytime you take a shower if those don’t work go to the doctor

Maybe if you wash it with a little bodywash then if you keep on doing that everyday then it should start to wear off hope this helps xx

The vagina has its own natural smell so its probably normal..Once you dont notice it urself. you shuldnt be fuckn at that age thou.

WOW! ok, rosiehigggins… I think you are dumb to make such a statement, that is just rude. How would you feel if someone told YOU that. ok, anyhow, at age 14, which wasn’t that long ago for me, no one should be taking part in anything more than kissing, believe me, boys are and will always be stupid, and being sexually involved only makes things harder on you when they screw things up. & if you haven’t noticed the smell it is probably nothing to worry about.

1. You aren’t supposed to douche, it’s bad for you. You should all talk to your docs. 2) Don’t jump down her throat like that, it’s only going to annoy her. Be considerate of whatever circumstances she might be under.

Your vagina might have a musky smell to it, especially when you’re aroused, but that’s completely normal. The ‘fishy’ smell is not. It is usually caused by a bacterial infection. I would go see a doctor.

Before you run off thinking you’ve got something wrong with you, ask yourself: do you ever smell anything? If it’s THAT bad, you’d probably catch a whiff when you change your underwear or sit cross-legged.

Your boyfriend may just be buying into the popular myth that all vaginas smell fishy, which they don’t! He might be mistaking your natural smell for something worse.
