I don't really like them for some reason. Im not sure why, they just don't do it for me. They're good im just not into them...

aha there like the hip hop influenced rip off of gwar? I believe they use turn tables and stuff like that in some of there music.

To me they're the best Nu Metal and Metal band out there,you can understand what their saying if you just listen to the music,there are maggot posers out there which I have ran into many lately. My favorite song from the band is Sulfur and The Shape. All I can say is that Slipknot will go on forever until they get too old to play.

Vol. 3 was a very impressive album. Corey Taylor's singing improved and the lyrics greatly improved. The whole album had a good unity throughout and was quite experimental.
Slipknot's first album was heavy you could say, but it sucked.
Iowa sucked.
Both for the same reason, lyrics. There is also no unity in the album. They are basically collections of random catchy drop B guitar riffs.

All Hope is Gone is Pop music formulated. There also doesn't seem to be as united as Vol.3 did. It is certainly better than their first two albums, but I believe it is relatively a poor album.

Go listen to M.A.N. if you like this type of music. If you'd like some more mature music, try Opeth or Meshuggah.

I love them. They're on of the best metal bands of all time. I've been a proud maggot for several years now and nothing's ever going to change that. They're amazing people and musicians. I know all my Slipknot facts, so if anyone needs to facts - ask me. I'm a Slipknot buff! They're songs make me happy because I can always find a song by them that relates to they way I feel at that current time. Slipknot is amazing and always will be.

Whoever said Slipknot is for kids, it is NOT for kids... I went to the concert with a 48-year-old fan of them.
Yes, I like Slipknot, they really managed to twist a whole genre of music around. They're very unique.
