One word, Medicine. NyQuil, or any apsrin PM, they help you go to sleep, and sleep good.

you can take your CD player, lay down, put some soft music on and fall asleep...

write stuff down in a diary or something, I have heard it loads of time. If you lie awake thinking too much this is deffinately what to do.
