what are some tips to help me get to sleep, please dont say the obvious 'step one get into bed, step 2 turn out lights step 3 close eyes result equals sleep.'
It takes me like tons of hours to get to sleep sometimes I cant at all even if I've had a...

really busy day or if I do end up sleeping I seem to wake up zillions of times and then spend another hour or so trying to get back to sleep. I find it so hard sleeping only until like 7am in the morning I end up waking up to late. The thing is I know this sounds pretty odd but as I lie down trying to get to sleep I think 'what am I doing lying here for, I should go revise, exercise, do something else then waste like 8 hours' I just dont really like the idea trying get to sleep and having to wake up..I dont mind the sleeping part, I just wish I could fall asleep in a matter of seconds.
My mum thinks I'm crazy and I dont need sleeping pills that I'm just being silly but seriously it annoys me so much I feel like crying, I get so bored tossing and turning I feel like screaming or pulling my hair out...
yeh, any help?
thanks...

yes, I had sleeping issues, and if you go to a drug store, you can buy a bottle of a pill called meletonin. its a natural substance; you jus put it under urtounge, and lay down in the dark. it helped me fall asleep within half hour. its good becuss unlike othr prescriptoin sleeping pills, it is not addictive. ask a pharmasist about it.
