thats the fun of a sleep over you get to sleep somewhere thats not like home. if I have kids sleep at our house out comes the spare matteress and doonas and pillows. I would be anoyed if my kids went for a sleep over and they hadnt actually thought about where the kids were going to sleep. I would rather they came home for the night if they were going to put them on the floor with nothing under them.
I always send mine with a pillow (because they are fussy like their mumma) and a special treat for after dinner. I always make sure I have enough for any siblings too.
Dear mcmaddy,
Send them with a sleeping bag and pillow. Some times neither is required but you kill two birds with one stone here. Your child will have all the materials needed for a restful night and you teach the child to always be prepared. I used to bring an extra sleeping bag as a child because there was always one child who's parents never had the foresight to send anything.
Sue...good luck
