Why can't i sleep through the night?

I can only sleep for 3 hours and then I wake up all refreshed and shizz but I can't go back to sleep and its like 3 in the morning when I wake up, I've tried sleepin all the way through the night but because I'm really ill at the moment I keep havin to...

get up to get more pain killers and to get rid of the blood in my mouth =[. tis not nice. but im just not sure how I can get to sleep again. any ideas ?? --xX

You may have insomnia. You should go to a doctor and get checked out.

u could try takin a lot of niquil or a couple shots or vodca, or someother kind of sleepin pill like lunesta etc...

its probly stress related or it might be that you have nightmares that you dont remember that is know to happon or ya know just go to the sleep clinic they will be able to tell you

well, so far everyones advice is GREAT!

I would also like to add:
maybe try having soemthing sugary during the day (maybe coffee if you drink it) but make sure its a little bit earlyer that way when you go to sleep, you are starting to crash from the sugar and maybe you will sleep longer. you can also try energy drinks during the day but dont drink to many because they arent good 4 u

Your body is on it's own schedule, you need to retrain your body and brain. . .Try first with a nap during the day you might go to sleep later but then you may sleep longer, try and hold off on your PK and take them a little later.

also might check out your pillow and mattress..if your pillow is too flat.. and if your mattress is very worn and has dips in it.. it causes stress on your spine.. which also will make you get up throughout the night... although you may feel refreshed... your not really.. your running on fumes... put a pillow under your knees as well.. somehow it always helps me. LOL
