American idol audition

How old do you have to be to be on american idol?? And how do I audition for it?? Any advice??

I think it's 16-24.

Find out when they are having them by watching the web site at fox, then go to one.

Advice- make sure you don't just think you can sing. You should know proper breathing, phrasing and diction. Voice lessons = BIG PLUS.

Singing along with a radio and singing alone with no piano or music (which is how you audition) is huuuge difference.

usually the age group is 16 and over
a lot of older people have orditioned for it as well
but youll need to be at least 16
go to there website and see when theyll next be looking for people to audition
then look at all the places theyll go to
then just go to one of those places to audition
