Sims 2: pregnant vampires?

I am thinking about creating a Vampire on my Sims 2 game. I am wondering if it will work if I make a human lady pregnant with a male and then get bitten by a Vampire? Has anyone tried that?

I have not tried that scecific way, but I know the vamps can have babies. they come out human though.

um vampires can have babies but they are just normal non vampire babies.. you can click on your sim baby when it grows to a child (maybe a toddler but I don't know 4 sure) and choose bite this sim or something and they will turn to a vampire... but only if they have a high enough relationship... also if you don't want to have them be vampires any more use the phone to call the matchamker lady, buy the potion called like vampiredecrallation or something its a choice of to its not the love potion one so choose the other one hehe

no you vampires have babies but they are regular babies once they are adults you can make them vampires you cant before that
