First try removing everything associated with the game...there was a folder created when you first started installing the game..go into your C drive or whatever your main drive is and remove the games files...try restarting your pc and attempting to reinstall a fresh copy of the game..also insure there isn't any damage to the second cd..furthermore double check to see if your PC is compatible with the game..if none of this helps get back to me and I will help you further troubleshoot this situation.

Sims 2 installation problem
Hey, I just tried to install Sims 2 Seasons, and it was running fine untill a pop-up showed at 66%. The pop-up asked me to load disk 2, so I did. After waiting over 5 minutes, it was still 66%, and the another pop-up said that the system was not...
responding, and the installation closed.
This problem has happened to me before, and my friend fixed it, but I don't know how to myself.
