Sims 2 furnature and clothes for mac

I have found this awsome website to download clothes, furniture and houses etc. but on the FAQ's it only tells you how to download it on a PC and I have a mac. so does anyone know how to put the furniture and cloths etc downloaded off the internet on to...

a mac sims 2 game???

There's a link in the forum for some sort of patch you might need if your using a mac.
