Why do people like Sims 2? I think it's boring.

Well, we all wish to live in a fantasy life at one point or the other. In sims, you can build a house, get a real job, interact with individuals without the negative side-effercts, and many other things.

Of course, I think it's completely pointless. If you're going to fantacize, do something exciting with your alter-ego. Many an RPG come to mind.
