We recently adopted a six and a half month old golden retriever puppy. Since she's been home for about a week, but she gets these hacking fits, but usually doesn't throw up at all. Sometimes she hacks up a little spit, but ususally nothing. So this...
morning, she basically froze in the middle of the room. Her head lowered a little, and I thought she was tired. But a few seconds later, she threw up a six inch tall, seven inch across pile of what looked like wood. Not sticks, but a chewed block of wood. Should we take her to the vet?
