Should we get married?

Were both 17 and have been dating for almost 8 months. We are Juniors in high school and have talked about marriage a lot. We had problems in the beginning. He seemed very controlling for a while and always thought that I liked all these other guys and...

stuff like that. We both want to attend college, but what if we don't go to the same college? He told me he wants to have kids someday and I really dont want to have kids. We both want to move to different places someday too. Our career goals are similar but, is this all that easy? Am I living in a fantasy? I mean were not even out of high school for another whole year yet.

I would NOT get married, your goals are similar but not the same.. I think you are living a fantasy and marriage is NOT that easy, it will probably end up bringing more problems into your relationship if you jump right into it. so I would wait and do different things to test your relationship like meeting each others families and see how each other interact with them. see how he treats his mother, if he doesn't have a mom then his grandmother or aunt. eventually that is how he will probably treat you. I would wait a long time, after high school until you consider marriage.. maybe even a couple of years after.

Umm. excuse me? how old are you..? and how old is he? 17.. I think not, you guys should at least wait till you are like 21, because I know love seems like it is just flourishing, but I dont think so, none of you are even old enough to sign a lease on a car, house, apartment , or ANYTHING. I dont think marriage should even be an option at this age, finish school, complete college, and complete all life goals, and then go for marriage, goodluck! :]

Hell no girl you are still to young. I did that mistake now im 28 and I still have pain from married to a jerk.

know what im not going to b rude but maybe when your 17 its natural to think about marrige and childeren because thats when you start to plan your future.I dont think your mind is completely strait with this.maybe wait till 21 or 22. colledge is ok I geuss but im 13 so I shouldnt know...
