Should there be a superstate ?

Should the U.S., Mexico and Canada be integrated into a unified superstate, where U.S. citizens of the future will be known as North Americanists ?

you got 3 countrys with 3 differant governing systems. . . . 3 differant tax systems which they would adopted the highest being Canadian with medical and so on the price of Tabacco would jump up nearly $20 a carton the Dollar american Dollar and the Canadian Dollar would Drop in value to make up for the increase in Value of the Peso. . . . English would slowly become a second language and Canada would lose it's free health care. Would it work. . . . . Probably not the Civil unrest would increase till we entered another Civil war probably and we would end up as 3 seperate nations again. . . . But this is just my opinion.

Given how hard it is to get small groups to agree, and any large group to agree, I find the idea of bigger bigger organizations of any kind disagreeable. Larger goverment = more wasted money...small government = less opportunity for waste.

i agree with what ur saying, but i think u missed out on the pros of one large organization. even though larger organizations/nations find it harder to agree, when they do, larger things result. if a small group tries to implement an idea, rarely does it result in a large acceptance or following. but when a large group puts forth an idea, something most likely happens from it. one superstate may result in a lot of disagreements, but the agreements that are made, would have a much larger impact on the world.

in any case, i wouldnt want to lose my name as a Canadian, so... haha.
