Should I visit my uncle tommy in prison he has been in there for about 16 years now havent seen him that long so should I or not?

It depends - do you think you could handle it emotionally. It's very hard to look at someone and talk to them through a glass when they are in prison. You also have to remember his appearance could be shocking to you since it's been so long, and he has been in prison.

You should write him a letter first and let him know that you are coming though - most jails will only allow visitors that are approved in advance - you can't just show up. You also have to find out when visitation is.

I would visit him if I were u , but try not to shock him ,
you probally should write tommy a letter first to
ask if it is o.k. to visit ... then if he writes back
well then hey . dont forget to bring a gift too
like drawing paper or candy or cigs or
somthing to show appreciation ;^)
