Should i stop smoken weed?

Well I smoke weed and a lot of people I hang with smokes it but now I feel depended on it and I dunno what to do!

STOP!

I've never met a successful person who smoked the stuff...quit...Your friends, if they are friends will understand... You may have to get new friends if they don't respect your decisions.. Be strong...it takes more guts to see and know the stuff isn't good for you... do it for yourself...remember the stuff is illegal...why chance getting into trouble? You just need to get away from it...cold turkey works...

I smoked everyday when I was your age and know one was going to change that but me, my choice. I had control over it and it never had control over me. I quit easy, and you could to if you wanted to. If it worked for me rite now, I would still be smoking. The key thing for me was for it not to effect the things that help you move forward in life. If its affecting that, then its a problem. I think that alcohol is more of a problem than weed and anyone that has done any research knows that.

Also for the people that will slam on weed. My son has cancer and getting it free and legally and without it he doesn't have an apatite. There are also many other illnesses that it helps people with, but people that have never done any research on it would never know. I also would never encourage anyone to use drugs, just explaining what happened to me.

I have a friend who smoked for 20 years.
In high school, when he first started smoking, he was bright and a great athelete.
Now, he's burned out. A dull look, a slow, lousy memory and just an apathetic slouch.
He could have done great things, instead he has few memories of a life mostly lived in a fog.
It sucks.

Yeah you should - once your life comes depended on it is when you need to stop. People can responsibly smoke it but that's not the case here because its taking control over you.

You should totally stop smokin pot, there's way better drugs out there.

I am sorry to here about your friend macsmommy, it sounds like your friend may have had a drug abuse problem and probably was doing other drugs to do that much damage to him. Its very sad to here that your friend got out of control with whatever drugs he was doing and your rite it does suck when that happens to anyone.

you shoud at least cut back I smoke weed to but only the odd day I like it but not all the time make it like you smoke it once or twice a week kind like a treat!

couple reasons why it should be legalized:
-will be removed from black market and stop empowering gang members
-medical reasons
-would be sold like alcohol, remember alcohol was once prohibited too (in stores away from children, have to be 21+)
-would be a law that you cant drive while intoxicated on weed
-prison population would lower (prisons are overcrowding with nonviolent offenders)
-keep patients from being convicted
-would provide millions of jobs for people
-would make us an independent country (fuel, etc.., debt free america)

people with an addiction (including hard drugs) shouldnt be thrown in jail, they need help
theres more people in jail with mental illnesses than there are in mental institutions
