Should i stop?

Ok, so im a surfer and when the waves are flat I do a lot of cardio like running, joggin, light weights, core training ect...everything that helps with surfing. But lately I have been working on strengthening my core and working out my abs, but now they...

like hurt, and my core hurts and it feels like someone is pressing on my core, I was told that means that they are getting stronger ect...is that true? Or is it bad and should I stop? I am a really good surfer, and know about working out and when to much is to much, but I have never felt this before. So any help would rock :d thanks fer sher

well im not super sore, but like yeah I have been working on it for the past week, and I think I have not rested enough, so yeah I think I need to pause for a lil while

yea dude when weight training and well any working out its good to rest for a day every now and again. Like work out 2 or 3 days then rest one and so on and so forth.
