Do a lot of teenagers shave down there?

should I shave my v*agina? do a lot of normal teen agers do it?

A lot of people shave, a lot of people trim, and a lot of people leave it all natural. So it's all up to you; it's just a personal preference.

Many ob-gyns do not recommend shaving though since it can increase your chances of getting infections down there. So leaving it alone or trimming are really the two safest options, but many girls do shave it all with no problems. So it's up to you whether or not you want to try it.

It depends on the person. I like it totually shaved for other purposes. Try it out and if you don't feel comfortable with it , then just leave it alone and grow natural.

A lot of teens DO shave down there, its not a problem. It will get veery itchy the first few times when the hair is coming out through the skin. Sometimes, since hair down there is usually curly, it will curl under the skin and cause an undergrown hair (they look like little red bumps.) When i got them, i just broke the bump (kind of picked it, or popped it like a zit) until i saw the hair. It was kind of painful! But don't worry. Nothing to worry about. Plus a lot of guys, ddont like to go through the mess with the hair, so its pretty normal.

Yes- it will grow back faster. If you're going to shave, you have to be commited to keep up with the shaving every week, or perhaps every other day. It really depends on how much time you're willing to devote to shaving.

Many people today are shaving their genital area. I am a twenty five year old male, and I have been shaving my pubic hair for about six years now. The reason I shave is because it is cleaner, feels better, and more hygienic. I shave about every other day to keep it from itching. It itches for the first couple of times but after that you will get used to it and it won't itch. So it is ok for people to shave down there. I hope this helped
