Should i let him go or keep waiting?

* ME * Asked by jwcook04 over 2 years ago, 1 answer.

My boyfriend and i have been dating for about 2 and half years. He was currently living with his father at the time we met and i was still in high school. Graduation passes and i moved in with him and his father. I started talkin about movin in our own...

apartment and starting our lives but my boyfriends dad couldnt afford the house he was living in by himself. So a year passes and my boyfriend is still living with his father im now growing more impatient on waiting for his father to get his act together and take control of his life. There house was just repossed and someone bought now my boyfriend promised his dad that he would move in with him for a least a year so he can catch up on bills. Though everytime my boyfriend and I talked he always talked about getting a place with me and not promising his dad he would take care of him anymore.He keeps asking for another year but thats what he said last year. I feel like ive waited all i can wait and i want to know if im being selfish and impatient or if im right about not being able to wait and just move on with my own life?

Maybe you could tell your boyfriend that you want to get a place soon and you need to know what hes thinking about... getting one with you or staying with his dad. Or, you could try to get a place on your own if you could afford it until he makes up his mind.
