Should I let go?

ok this one guy that I am REALLY close with got drunk. and called me. we talked a lot now even tho we stopped talking for a couple of months because we went out and I kind of broke up with him. it was a very messy break up but now our issues are solves and we are basicly bestfriends. ok soo we talked and he started saying stuff like I love you and your my bestfriend. I just tho it was drunk talk but then he seyd im drunk but im still able to think and talk normally. so I was like ok. and then we talked a lido more and he seyd. ' ... I lvoe you a lot, so much that I want to be in a relationship with you. but when I think about it I like the way it is right now.and I dont want to risk losing it' when I herd that.. I started to think a lot and I start to relized that I still have feelings for him. the problem is that for like a month I've been telling him to ask this other girl out. and he's planning to do it tomorrow. I dont know what to do. should I stop him and tell him about my feelings or should I just let him go..????

It looks like there is a lot of baggage on this one, and it could have problems down the road, because it looks like when you had a 'relationship' it was kind of rocky. But if your heart says you want him back go with it. But depending on your age, if you are younger, just remember you have your whole life ahead of you, and don't be tied down with love etc... because you don't want drama in your life. You only live once.
