Should i go through with it?

Asked by xxvelvetc0finxx about 1 year ago, 6 answers.

Ok so I'm going back to visit some friends from where I moved. I really miss it there and my friend and I thought of the perfect way for me to stay. We were thinking of leaving 2 days before I depart. Run away till after I'm supposed to fly back home....

And wait leaving a note behind explaining everything including my conditions of not coming back unless I can stay till I graduate high school. I only have two years left...
And yes I know I've been told why go back now when you have two more years left. But honestly I cant take it I just want to go back. I've lived here for almost 4 years and I still don't have friends and just want my old life back. I have it all carefully planed out of where we could stay and how we would get there.
I just hope it works..
It's not like I wouldn't return... I would within at most a week or so
Still...should I go through with it?

Well... if you're only going to stay for a week, it doesn't really matter...

But you're going to have more consequences than the advantage. True, you'll be able to see your friends again... but then? Why won't you ask permission to your parents? It's way easier.. and if they disagree, threaten them.. it's way safer. If you just leave and only telling them by a note, believe me, it's going to be major trouble; and you basiclly told them where you go right? Then they will catch up on you and woo-hoo; another drama...

That's what I think anyway...

Don't listen to these people. Stay with your parents, finish school, and then do what you want. Don't dig yourself a ginormous hole.

If you leave now, where are you going to stay? What are you going to do for a job? The economy is very tough right now. If you do sneak out and move you will be kicking yourself in the butt.

I agree with mrkevin. Don't do it because the consequences of running away out weigh the advantages. You only have to put up with your parents and everything for two more years. Just tough it out, stay with your parents, finish school, and then you'll be free to do whatever you please.
