Should i get tongue pierced?

I was thinking about getting tongue pierced, my main fear is the pain factor. Does it hurt? (dont answer if you don't have it done). most people say it isn't but I want to know what your opinion is

Well it isnt to painfull its a bit like getting your ears pirced on your tounge..
Its also danggrous if you get the wrong vain it cud kill you.
So be careful.

sammiebbe1997 - geez... way to be over dramatic. Look, the pain ISN'T going to be horrible/unbearable. How much it hurts will depend on how much pain you can personally handle. But if you really want it done, don't be scared. As long as you have it done professionally and take care of it, it'll be just fine and you won't have any problems with it. You can also feel free to ignore anyone who says anything stupid such as - you can't get a job if you have it, they're skanky/trashy, it means your a wh*re or that you suck d*ck, or anything like that. Tongue piercings are NOT trashy/skanky and they DON'T mean your a wh*re or that you suck d*ck. They're simply forms of body art and self expression and you CAN still get a job if you have them. They also don't make you any more or less attractive than you already are.

hardly hurts at all
looks lush
but eatings a bit annoying for a while
you cant eat solids for like a week tho some people can after a few days

when I had mine done, I wil admite it hurt me but they did have to put it through twice because it didnt go through the first time, but dont be put off by that the pain is like 2 seconds.
but I think after is the worst. eating and that its a real pain.
but now im all over with that and I love it! :D
