Should I get lowlights?

My hair is naturally like a medium ash brown color. Then last summer I died it auburn, and now it just looks orangie to me. Nobody else thinks so but it is only like this on the top. My roots have came in like 1 inch and then on the bottom side of my hair it is brown. So should I get low lights to cover up the red color and will it look like simular to my old hair color or look like worse.

It wont look worse.. but there will still be red. My suggestion would be to dye your hair the red color again.. to get rid of the roots.. or dye your hair the root color.
