Whatever you do, don't get a small tattoo. That's usually the first sign of not being sure that you totally want one. 99% of the time, down the road... people that got teeny tiny tattoos just end up getting them covered up by a bigger one. If your parents will flip... just wait until you're 18, or however old you have to be depending on where you live. It will be worth it, trust me.
i think you should wait until you can get it done in a liscenced tattoo shop htere are so many things that can go wrong apart from all the usua youve probably already heard like infections and scarring which is very serious the ink can also bleed which means basically like when you use a fountain pen den let water drop on before its dried the ink will leak and spread and blend in together that wont look pretty atleast in a liscenced place with REAL proffessionals you can ask what sort of ink they use. i am not sayin dont ever get one ive got 3 in the last year they are great and i love the feeling when your gettin them done but i waited till the legal age. ALL of my friends that got them done at skool now hate them the point is your opinions change so wait a while really take ur time to decide and alsways make sure it really means something to you because f it dont then you might just feel stupid down the line. and if your parents dont want you to av 1 then please just wait till ur legel to av 1 then u can have it whereever you want it aint worth the hasle when they find out n the pullin and the scabbing on your back when its healing actually does make it quite hard to move and bend or even sleep comfortaby believe me they wil notice it
Don't get a tattoo until you're old enough to get a tattoo. There are 2 tattoo rules. 1)Don't tattoo someones name on you- unless its your parents name or your kids name. It is bad luck and love ain't forever. 2)Remember whatever you get- it is forever. Remember one day you'll be a 80 year old grandma and the word Sexy won't be sexy on saggy skin. Well I guess I can add a 3rd rule. 3)Really good advice I learned the hard way- put it somewhere you will be able to cover up for the most part. I have a tattoo on my wrist- covering up an ex's name with a butterfly. I have been denied jobs because of this. Because I was once young and stupid and wanted a tattoo. I'm 27 now. I learned the hard way and hope you don't follow or anyone for that matter.
I think tatoos are cool and want to get one myself. Just, make sure it is something that has deep meaning to you - it is for life - it is not pencil and you can't erase it,. Don't do japanese or chinese symbols unless you know for sure what it means. if its chinese, im taking chinese so if you email the symbol to me I could tell you what it means. :D
