Should i get a cell phone?

I'm 14, all my friends have a cell phone, I don't have one yet and I wasn't really thinking of getting one yet. Recently I've been thinking of getting one because if I go somewhere with my friends after school I always have to borrow one of their phones...

to call my parents + my parents always calls my friends to ask ME stuff. It'd be kinda weird to have your mom or dad calling your friend all the time just to look for you. But the thing is ... I'm not exactly the most popular girl in the school, not many friends... only a few close ones... so I might not actually be texting/recieving texts a lot or calling either. ( except for my parents) should I get a cell? (I have a job so I'd be paying the bills myself)

I would say get one because your going to NEED. 1 sooner or later and it'll help you with friends even though you said your not that popular when you have a phone you stay in contact with a lot more people. I don't know where you live but in nyc I think nextel has a $50 a month plan where you have unlimited text and unlimited calling so it wouldn't be much to get a phone. Mostly everyone has 1 now so I would say yes get 1 its a great thing to have.

I was just going to ask where you live but I saw you live in canada! well I think canada telus pay and talk phones rock! look up pay and talk phone-telus on google and you can check out there website I get unlimited texting for 20 dollars and one call unlimted to call my mom for 7 dollars! it's great and you never go over and pay a lot
