Should i get a bar across my ear?

Ok i want a bar across my cartilage. Cause i was thinking of getting my tongue pierced but i looked up pros cons of it its just not what i want. Also i got my belly pierced like two years ago and i don't want to many piercings. ok the picture at...

right is not me but that's how i want it, but i dress preppy, but really I'm lyk gangsterish i guess idk but do you think it would look ok? I need at least 5 people to say i should before i get it. also if anyone has it please tell me if it hurts =/

A girl I work with actually got one about a month ago, and she said it hurt so bad, she didn't want to finish it, she wanted to get both ears done but not after the first one cuz it hurt so bad, but it does look cool.

I don't think you should get it done . A friend of mine just got a ring on her cartilage and she cried for at least two weeks, could sleep on that side for months, couldn't brush her hair and when she took it off after it healed there was a hole like something had eaten through her ear....disgusting!

Lyk.....I think you need to take an english class. I believe your young and you don't think you know what you want. You say you need five 'STRANGERS' off the internet to justify weather or not you should stick holes through your body. Honey... You should do what you feel. And if your young (18 and under) you should really think about what you do to your body now. You tink it's cool to pierce and stress your eyelobes.... think about when your ready to move away from your parents. Costs of living has risen to an all time high! you want to be able to get that get paying job.... so you can have that place of your own to do as you please. Believe me... I still need my parents help at 30. You really don't want to burn your bridges with your parents. Family always out weighs friends.

ok honestly i really dont think that it looks that cool, and i doubt that u will think it does when your thirty or so, and my friend had one and she said that is was the worst thing she had ever felt, and she has plenty of experience with painful things like haveing a baby, and she has plenty of surgeries. well thats my 2 cents
