Should I take diet pills?

Okay, well... I have these two things coming up. Not soon, though...

Anyway, I have to lose weight for both of them, and the only way I can do that is by starving myself. I don't want to, though!

So I was wondering, should I take a diet pill for those two occasions? One's sometime in May, and the other one is early June. I don't care if I gain my weight back, because I can have more time to lose all of that weight anyway.

So should I do it? I'm 13 and not sure if it's healthy.

No.Diet Pills are never safe, for anyone, especially someone with your young age.
Diet pills make you lose water weight mostly, instead of fat.
This can be VERY harmful for you if your not hydrated well.
Most,or all Diet pills have an age limit of 18 years of age,for this reason.

If you need to lose weight, the safest and best way to do it is to moderate your food intake, make it healthy, and excersize a lot.

no weight loss quick fixes are healthy. The only proven, safe method is diet and excersize. (evil I know) I think you should save up some money and buy a couple gorgeous, figure flattering outfits. Just by dressing right, you can make yourself look 10 lbs lighter. look for fitted tops and straight leg pants, or a skirt that ends a few inches above the knee. If you can walk in heels, that will give you a more height, enhancing the long lean look. Ask your parents with help eating correctly. They won't turn you down, I'm sure. I remember how hard it was to be healthy when mom had a bunch of junk food laying around the house.

no you shouldn't take diet pills or starve yourself! diet pills are a waste of money for fat people to think they've found the 'miracle cure'! People will buy anything and the people who sell the diet pills KNOW that! If you read the small writing on ANY diet pill commercial, at the bottom it says 'with diet and exercise'... you can lose weight with only diet and exercise so why waste your money and possibly hurt yourself (most medicines have some kind of side effects)... oh and you don't HAVE to lose weight for these events. you should want to lose weight for your health or something like that. you need to eat healthy and exercise, then you will most likely lose the weight and keep it off.
