Should i date him?

okay so I've been talking to this guy who's a senior
and im a sophmore but he's really nice and like im really starting to like him and I know he likes me.
so I don't know if it would be smart to date him cause I mean he's going to college next year...

and it just sucks so my question is if I really like him should I just go for it and try having something serious with him?

or you can just stay friends and then when the time comes and it will it wount be so hard to say bye...
