Contrary to what many people say, your hair will not grow faster if you cut it. I know it can be very frustrating waiting for your hair to grow, but it is worth it.
If you are worried about your hair being frizzy, try putting a mixture of mashed-up avacado and mayo (real mayo, not salad dressing, that dries out your hair even more) on for 20 minutes, put a plastic bag over your hair and then a warm towel. After, wash your hair with regular shampoo, once, do not condition.

If you want your hair to grow, you'll need to get regular trims to get rid of the split/dead ends. Having healthy hair is key to it growing. I put off getting my hair trimmed because I was trying to grow it, big mistake! They had to cut like 3 inches off because the bottoms of my hair were so brittle. So go get it trimmed and keep going regularly so wont have to get much taken off.

well I think you should get it trimed and just look into a nice shampoo for long hair, like Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship its special for long hair and invest in getting a good ceramic flat iron so it isnt so freaking frizzy and oh when you do you a flat iron aka straightener make sure you buy a heat protecting product.

Get it trimmed. That way you can keep it looking healthy, take some of the length off but still have it long enough that if you want it to continue to grow, it can. Summer is coming though, and I know from having very long hair my entire life ( until this year) that long hair in the summer...is not fun at all. Maybe cut it a little for summer time and then let it continue to grow out through the fall and winter.

If you decide to cut it, maybe keep it long enough that you can still pull it back if you want to...when hair is too short to even get out of your face, it tends to get annoying..
