wife. I was all shocked and embarrassed, could not believe he said that to me in front of everybody. My boyfriend's sister ran away and marry that guy abt 3 years ago. When I fisr started dating my boyfriend, he used to tell me how he hates him and he doesn't know what his sister sees in him because he' so ugly and rude. I was the one who was always telling my boyfriend to stop being so mean and give him a chance in the family. So abt 2 months ago the family finally accepted him, so they've asked them to move into the house. I was all trying to be friendly with him, making sure he's comfortable and that was how repaid me by acting like a complete brute. My boyfriend was like I told you he was a brute, but you didn't believe me. now I cant stand him. Should I completely ignore him now when he tries to to talk to me, or should I just let it go?

I'm really interpretting this wrong. Who can't you stand? The husband or your boyfriend? It's not exactly clear.

It's really up to you, I guess the bigger thing would be to let it go, you dont need to be nice, but be cordial. I would just ignore him...

Yes, you should 100% ignore him, e.g. telling that you want to be friendly ONLY YOU B/F. Of course, you should be friendly with the parents and others, but not with him. If he asks you just remind him of his only my wife answer. And laugh. do not be shocked, just laugh/smile at his face.
