Should i call her?

I was supposed to call this one girl over the summer to hang out but the summer is almost over and I haven't called her yet. I'm thinking of calling before school starts but I don't know what to say. so should I call? If I do I'm thinking about just...

saying that I'm sorry for not calling a lot sooner but I have been really busy but I'd really another chance to get to know if let me. please let me know if that is stupid or not cause I like her a lot and don't want to sound dumb.

If you like her alot why havent you called then? call her...tell her you have been very busy like you said and she how she reacts and see if she still wants to hang out...but atleast call becos you said you would.
