If it runs and it's only 800 dollars, jump on it! Honda's are great cars and they will last you forever if you take care of it.

If it's 200,000 miles on that engine I'd take it to a mechanic, have him look it over and advise...Take care !!

I would go for it if it runs fast at a great price, but the only problem is, there would be a different price range for your insurance since its a red vehicle. You understand why though right? Because red cars are known to get in trouble a lot. LOL. I dunno. Its hard to explain.

That's awesome you should get it. I have a Honda Accord (93) with 195 k miles and my mechanic said if I keep taking care of it, it should last another 10 years. So yeah go for it. Any honda that's in good shape is worth the money.

Red is a color that when a person is drunk, is most likely to hit when the're in a car. That is why some fire departments switched to yellow for their trucks. Hondas do last forever, but they do eventually break down. A point that should be taken into consideration is that it isn't newer cars that are stolen most frequently, it is older ones. So, a popular car (like say... I dunno, a Honda Civic) that is older is more likely to be stolen (for parts, everyone's looking for them) than a brand-new (figure you can't afford it if you're looking at an $800 car) Honda Civic fresh from the dealership. In NH the most frequently stolen vehicle is the 94 Accord. Don't let what I say stop you if the car seems mechanically sound and whatnot. Do get a carfax report done to see if the VIN is real, if it's ever been in an accident, flood, repo'd, etc. I personally wouldn't buy the car if it didn't have a title (don't need one in NH if it is older than 15 years) because the way I think of it is: If the owner can't take care of some f-n paperwork, what guarantee do I have that they took care of something more complex (like, I dunno... THE CAR?) Have a mechanic take a look at it. If the seller doesn't let you, don't buy it. You say above that it has new tires. Why? Is there a frame problem that the seller doesn't want you to know about? (Bad frame causes uneven tire wear) If you think it's a good deal at $800 (may be, would have to see the car myself) then go for it. Don't go by the KBB price, as those numbers are CRAZY expensive for junk. Maybe I should write a book... I've almost written one here.

yeah, anything running for under a thousand bucks is generally a good deal. I say go for it.
