Ok, I am thinking about having sex, but I dont want to bleed. How deep is it? Does it hurt? What does it look like if its broken? How can you tell? Can it break when playing sports? I have played lacrosse for 6 years, danced for 10 years and did taekwondo...

If you can get your fingers in more than 4inches odds are it's broken

Does it hurt?
A lot of the time women don't even notice it's been broken, but some have a thick hymen so it does cause a bit of irritation

What does it look like if its broken?
Only a doctor would know this, you or your partner cant visually tell

Can it break when playing sports?
Yes, and from using tampons

On a side note: with all the dancing, lacrosse, and taekwondo, chances are yours has already been broken but there really isn't a way of knowing unless you physically examine yourself to see how far you can get a finger in.

for me when me and my boyfriend had sex for the first time a loong time ago it hurt really reallly bad. some people say it doestn hurt some due it all depends. for me yeah it hurt sooo bad. where as my friends didnt at all. it also depdends on the guys size to the first time the bigger he is the more it hurts where as yeah my boyfriend is pretty big so all of it did hurt and I was soar after but now its relaly good

You should wait until your at least 16 when your body has grown up enough to be ready for sex. I didnt have sex until I was 18, and I was with someone I love (I'm actually marrying him in 3 weeks!). So your first time should be special, something you'll want to remember for the rest of your life. Don't throw it away. For now, enjoy hanging out with your friends, be a teenager.
