Should i be worried about these period pains?

Me and my girl Asked by lucky0u about 1 year ago, 5 answers.

I know that most women do get cramps and such during their period but mine are really bad and I'm not sure if I should be worried or not. They were so bad earlier I couldn't even stand without crouching over a bit (I started it yesterday). I never used...

to get period pains at all but the last three have been horrible. I tried Motrin but it didn't really do much at all.
Is this normal or should I be worried its something else?

and here i am again. Answered by sillygirl006 on Jun 07, 2008, 01:14AM

this sounds exactly like what has happened to me lately. seriously. I can't tell you if you should be worried, but I can tell you what has helped me get through them. when you're getting crapms go for a run or jog or even a brisk walk. seriously, try it. the cramps go away at least while you're moving.

or you could warm up a rice bag and put it on your cramps.

have you tried midol? I've never used it...I don't know...

feel better happy

It probably is just your period, mine were like that when I was younger. But it is unusual if it just happens out of nowhere? hmm I wont go into the disorders I just read about that could cause severe pain (the internet is a scary place). You might want to get it checked out, or atleast get some prescription pain killers...

no dont worry thats normal, it happens to me too, I actually went to the doctor and he said that some people just get really painful cramps and others dont, that you should go on with your day normal, exercise, shower, and try to put a hot water bag , it really really helps the go away very fast...hope you feel better

well you could be border-lined anemic which produces less red blood cells than normal.
