Should I be the one to make the first move?

There is a guy that I like. But I know that we are just friends. I have been talking to him on myspace. He doesn't have a girlfriend now. I don't have a boyfriend. He is 25 years old and I am 31 years old. We are only six years apart in age. Would that be ok. I know how people are about age difference also. But don't give a hoot about that. I am trying to explain it much throughly. I do not know if I should make the first move or not, Should I just wait for him to make the first move on me. I don't want to scare him. But I was being much honest. What do you think that I should do? I do like him. But would it be kind of akward at first. I want to make sure of myself. What should you think that I should do? Wait for him to make the first move on me or should I make the first move on him. I want to know. What do you think I should do?

Wow. You have quite the sitch right there. I say, if you're a bold person, make the first move and if it becomes awkward, tell him that it is. If you're shy, you may want to wait. If he digs you, he'll come to you. If he's the shy one, be sure to know whether or not he's actually just scared of saying he likes you or if he really doesn't like you. Confused? Me too. I say...go for it! Nothing ever comes easy.

well I've dated guys younger then me too so yay too you,,, !! and the age does kinda change things because usualli I wud say let him its the guys job lol,,, but in this case your older which might intimidate him sorry if I spelled it rong what are there skools teachering people these days lol

but yea anyways your older so make it easy on the poor guy,,, you dont have to flat out say anything but maybe just give him sum big hints since you guys have already bin talking. and im sure you guys like each other but thats a big "what if" what if he doesnt like you are you sure about that because if you are then just give him hints on asking you out or you cud always ask him out it is the 21st century lol
