Well today i got hit by a car..should i go to the doctor?

Well today I got hit by a car..
It was like a hit run
The car didnt hit me THAT hard but it sure knocked the wind outta me..
My friend just got me asked me if I was okay I said yeah
I havent even told my mom yet
I thought I was gunna be fine since...

nothing hurt at first but
now my whole tummy area is sore it hurts to sit

Should I go to the doctor or just suck it up?

u should go to the doctor fast because it could affect your health later in life you need to tell her

You need to go to a doctor... it is a BIG deal... even if you got hit by a car only going 10 mile per hour... the car weighs so much it can really damage you. you need to make sure you're ok.

jmz10 is right...you could easily have suffered internal bleeding.

Omg im so sorry irene! That happened to my friend before and she twisted just her ankle but you should tell your mom for sure and go to the doctor.. It could be internal bleeding which can kill u

It's best of if you could've gotten insurance information or at least a license plate number and do a police report. They could possibly get you the name and then have your family car insurance do investigating and take a claim until they resolve who hit you and their insurance. You may feel shock for now but if you are in pain later you want someone to pay for your medical bills.

But you should definitly tell your mom and go to a doctor/hospital either one. This might not sound great,but if you have any friends like older than 16 have them take you thats what I did before my mom never found out I just told her I was going to a friends house,and just dont let em'(your parents) find out if you really dont want to tell them that bad cause you might get in trouble or beat or something.

its possible that you could have broken a rib or something else might be wrong
even if its monor pain, go
also, the person in the car really sghould have stopped and asked if you were okay
even if you didnt look were you were going and just walked in front of it
they still should have asked if you were okay
but its likley that they got scared that you got hurt so they just drove off like idiots

it depends on how long ago it happend if it happend within 3 days tell your mom and go to the docter, if longer then that well keep it to yourself but try to see the docter.
