The guy that I'm going out with is so nice and caring but... I don't want my mom or family to find out about him yet.What shoul I do?

Are you not allowed to be dating or what? If he's so nice and you love him then you should want your family to find out about him. Be proud of what you've got and show it off.

what is it you don't want them to know about him...if he's a nice guy why don't you introduce him to your family....what are you trying to hide from them.... his age...race...does he have a bad rep... if you don't think there's a prob....whats yours?

why dont u want them to find out.Is it his age.Because i was the same way im 14 almost 15 an my boyfriend is 17 .i thought my mom was goin to mad but she was very cool with it beacause he was a nice guy in all.But try letting him hang with the family and having dinner.Then after u do this for awhile try and get your mom and family together and tell them this is your boyfriend and that u have dating him blank blank long trust me it work.

It's okay if you don't want them to find out about him right away; many people wish to wait until their relationship becomes more serious before getting the family involved. If you can't keep it a total secret, just let them know the basics, like how nice of a guy he is and how someday you'll bring him around so they can meet him, but you're just not quite ready for that right now.
