Should girls shave

I have like 2 questions
1) why do girls have hair on their vagina
2) should girls shave it?

I have hair on my back and I am a girl, but I also have a tail. As a dog, I will tell you that longer fur does pick up more funk, which to dogs is like your 'perfume'. If this 'funk-perfume' is something you like then go ahead and grow it long.

I used to wonder this same thing.

girls have pubic hair because the hairs produce an oil that helps the pen*s slide into the vagina better.. this is what my science teacher told me and some friends.

I shave mine just because where I live guys think its gross if girls have hair down there and because I dont like the way the hair looks..

you should shave it like one time to see if you like it.
shave down though that way you dont get bumps.

Don't shave, trust me, I tried it and like the last person said, it gets itchy as hell, I was about to go NUTS! If it's really bothering you, wax. Yes, it'll hurt, probably a lot, but it lasts longer than shaving and it isn't itchy or bumpy.

It's a preference. Most people these days like it better that way. But there are people who like it all ways.

the hair is there to produce the oils and to help from infections and such..as for shaving you can try it once I have but see if YOU are comferable with it don't just do it cuzguys like it do it because you want to and it makes you feel more confortanle..

I dont think they should shave but trim and dont let it get all wild!!! make it nice and pretty and only shave it your partner absolutly hates hair down there for the oral sex act...

I shave the whole vagaina once a month, I hate the hair down there. As for the itching, I really don't itch, you could maybe use Monastatt 7 for itching. Plus after shaving use your deodrant right after shaving. It helps with the redness. It really works. LOVES IT LOVES IT!
