Shih tzu haircut

Hi umm I need to get my 4 month old shih tzu his first haircut and dont what we want it to look like.
Can some body please help me out!!!

I have a shih tzu also. When I take him to the groomers, I ALWAYS ask for them to trim his hair and leave hair on his tail. Make sure they cut the hair around the eyes. When they finish grooming him, his hair should be short but very very smooth (you shouldn't be able to see his skin like other small dogs). I always keep hair on his tail because he just looks cuter. Oh and nails short too.

I know what you mean and COCO is beautiful! I just want to hug him! Hehe. I love Shih Tzus At first, I didn't know either but I went for something general and just asked for his hair to be short. I don't have great pictures but I can show you.

They mostly show his face but all I really recommend is a trim I suppose and definitely no hair around his eyes. Shih Tzu's are prone to eye infections more than most dogs. (I've been to the vet several times already).

I usually ask for a puppy cut. that keeps it fluffy and cute, not too long all over.
