brush daily, check their nutrituion is well, get food that says good for dog or cats coats and try not to hold them a lot because they start shedding. Even though I love caring my pet dog shedding becomes a big problem

Ditto to all the above...Brushing...GOOD nutrition...

You can try fish oil tabs (you can get them at Walmart), full of Omega's for the coat and skin...the better condition they are in, the less shedding...

But this time of year, ALL animals are shedding...horses, dogs cats...I even found a bunch of deer hair on post in my pasture...

You can brush and that will just get the top off, there is a shedding period where the dogs shed preparing for the new season, that can't be helped. Nutrition is key, there are excellent dog foods now that help with this problem also try supplements(vitamins). If changing the food is not an option you can add 2 tablespoons of olive oil to your dogs food three times a week and that would help, also I have four shedders in my house and I lint them down with a tape lint roller. They love it and it takes off a lot of the undercoat hair...good luck
