Shaving gentilal area... please help.

I shaved around my pubic area about 3 days ago. It got really itchy and redans it also burned . but today there are little zit-like things everywere down there and they have pus in them. Is this normal? Please help.

Shave bumps and ingrown hairs.

Whenever you shave down there - you have to remember that the skin in your genital area is VERY sensitive and very prone to shave bumps and ingrown hairs.

To help prevent this in the future:
-Always shave while your still in the shower with the water hitting the area you are shaving
-Use baby oil or baby oil gel to shave with - it helps.
-NEVER use scented body wash, shave gel, or lotion after shaving it can irritate it.
-After you shave - you can put a warm washcloth on the area for a mintute to help prevent the bumps, or non-scented lotion, or a product called Bikini Zone.

You have shaving rash

You'll need to get something to soothe it from your local pharmacist. Also never ever shave in the opposite direction that the hair grows since it can cause this.
