Leave it. It will grow back thicker and darker.

Yeah.. just leave it.. because it will grow back thicker and darker than before... so if you start shaving it or waxing it... you're stuck doing that again and again and again =]

well, thats actually a misconception, it wont come back thicker, and it may appear darker, but only due to the fact that the hair that was there before lost some pigmentation due to sun exposure or what not, not sure whether you should wax or not, but if its not a large beard, I think you should leave it

honestly I would leave it, if you shave it or wax it it will only get worse and you will regret you did it.

Hmm if its bugging you that bad then I would say bleach your hair.
when I was younger I had a really bad teasure line and I absouly hated it
so I asked my mom what I should do , she suggested I use proxide and bleach it
and it turned out lighter and less noticeable , so maybe you should do that if its really bugging you that much.

The 'it will grow back thicker and darker' line is a complete urban legend. Hair color and thickness is controlled by genetics and hormones, not by how many times it has been trimmed. The 'if you shave it, it will grow back thicker and darker' myth gets propagated because when young men and women begin shaving, at first it is very light and then gradually darkens with each shave, but this has to do with the fact that they are growing and their bodies are changing, not because their hair has been cut a certain number of times.

If you cut your hair on your head, does it grow back thicker and darker? If that were so, there would be no blondes.

Shave it if you want, but waxing would leave it hairless much longer.

One more time, everyone. Repeat after me -- shaving does NOT cause hair to grow back darker.

Yes, the hair /will/ come back a bit thicker and darker, because hairs are slightly shaped like teardrops - the thickest part is under the skin at first, and when you shave it, it gradually becomes more visible, and darker due to less sun exposure and all that.

Waxing it would cause breakouts.
