Is it ok to be a tease to gay guys?

Asked by here_4_us 6 months ago, 21 answers.

Ok, I went to a party last night, and I met a gay guy. I'm a completly strait guy, but I tend to have no problem with anyone different. Anyways the question is, is it normal to try to be a tease to a gay guy, with no intentions of it going further?

That would be leading him on, which could get you in some serious trouble.

If you were doing things that you would like a girl to do to you, that's not good. If you were just being friendly and nice, that's fine.

It doesn't mean you're gay or anything, but it probably does mean you're an a$s.

If your Straight why would you want to waste your time of teasing a homosexual?
It really make you look like someone of low personal values. . . .

yes, that is very unethical in and immoral behavior

Thunder Robot Answered by funadvice on Jan 13, 2008, 07:37PM

This is simple FLIRTING.

Girls do it to guys, and vice versa...

Girls do it to guys who are not available, and vice versa...

Homosexuals can do it to heterosexuals, and vice versa...

When I'm hit-on by a gay guy, I consider this to me MORE flattering, than when a woman does it. I dunno WHY, it just seems that way. And since I'm not afraid or intimidated by homosexuals, it just makes the evening more entertaining. Its all about how confident you are with yourself and your own sexual orientation...

when a Gay man hits on me knowing I'm straight I find it plain insulting. . .
Must be those Strong christian Morals.

Thunder Robot Answered by funadvice on Jan 14, 2008, 10:35AM

...WHY? Its no different than a woman hitting on you, that knows you're not available.

You can appreciate their attention, to a certain point. Of course the 'excessive principle' should apply to this as well. If they decide to take the 'casual flirting' a little too far, then it becomes inappropriate, offensive, irritating, etc.

Aside from you just being uptight... which C.M.V. is it? Or do you wish to reference a scripture or commandment instead?

Thunder Robot Answered by funadvice on Jan 14, 2008, 08:46PM

I Believe to word your looking for is Upright. . . .
Must have something to do with the Values based on this group of scriptures. . .

Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
(Rom 1:24-32)

Yeah, that scripture seems to condemn homosexuals... woo hoo...

So, where does it say that YOU'RE supposed to condemn them? You're not going to find any scripture along the lines of...

'Thou shalt not flirt, and thou shalt not condone flirtings. 'Specially from 'dem heathen queerz.'

***Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death***

Oh, so THAT'S where christian extremists find religious justification for murder... how very handy...

Yes I am and God already did.

Leviticus 18:22 Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.

Leviticus 20:13 If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.

Jude 1:7 In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who will suffer the punishment of eternal fire.

I guess the non religious justification for Murder ( Abortion ) would be more Exceptable to you?

Rnealw, I like your views. A lot of Christians I’ve talked with seem very un knowledgeable of their own religion, and think that going to church is all that is required. I'm impressed, despite the fact that your arguments are against my actions. I my self do not follow the Christian beliefs and their for am not bothered by rnealw's arguments. Captainassassin seems to have raised the view that is most similar to mine, as I pretty much feel the same. I have acknowledged that I am an ars though, and also to be careful if I'm ever to do something like that again.

Leviticus 18:22
Leviticus 20:13
Jude 1:7

Why aren't you killing the gays then, hmmm? Oh, let me guess, that old 'Thou Shalt Not Kill' commandment, right? Or maybe you're not Christian enough to spend your life in jail as a serial killer... for God? Or is this another one of those rules you don't have to follow, since Jesus's sacrifice released christians from all previous doctrines with his new covenant?

I consider it to be just another contradiction to add to the list.

***I guess the non religious justification for Murder ( Abortion ) would be more Exceptable to you?***

Yep... because it isn't murder...

MURDER: The unlawful killing of one human by another, especially with premeditated malice.

Since its not illegal, its not murder
Since there's no malice, its not murder... especially.
Since its not a human being (yet), its not murder
