Sexual intercouse while having a uti

I just found out yesterday that I have a UTI (urinary tract infection)
I was just wondering if this will effect sexual intercourse in any way. I really don't want to learn the hard way. I'm on antibiotics for it and have been since yesterday.
Does anyone know if I could experience pain or discomfort?

I wouldnt do it.. I have had a uti before, and I dont remember having pain while having actually intercourse I think afterwards I was sore. Its not healthy

Having sex may also cause urinary tract infections in women because bacteria can be pushed into the urethra. Using a diaphragm can lead to infections because diaphragms push against the urethra and make it harder to completely empty the bladder. The urine that stays in the bladder is more likely to grow bacteria and cause infections. Always urinate after sex, and wype from front to back.
Try to find the cause.

I wouldnt do it either. like the other person says sex can cause these infections and they make parts swollen and tender so id stay of it for a week and see how you feel then...

I wouldnt I have a UTI right now and the anti biotics cause your BCP (birth control) not to werk
