For everyone saying it's illegal: NO IT ISN'T.
The physiology of a woman's org**m is not dirty, it's not inappropriate, and it is NOT illegal.
Write the paper the right way, using proper sources, such as medical websites.
well although I cant answer the question fully, I can say that your teacher should not ask that, as a matter of fact I dont think they can. Wikipedia never hurt nobody, thats my only advice.
Teachers aren't allowed to go that far into sex ed. Conception, periods, STD's, and the parts of the anatomy are all they are legally allowed to cover in sex ed. That is going over board!
No. Someone asked that in class. and She called on me to answer it because it was my turn to answer, so I had to and I wasnt for sure, it was an open class discussion and one of the people in my class asked.
If I were in your shoes, I would write out word for word what an encyclopedia says, in quotes of course. Site your source. Add at the bottom that if that's not enough, the teacher can arrange a meeting with your parents and the superintendant to discuss what was expected.
Things like this make me really happy I'm home-schooled and my mom is my sex-ed teacher.
I think nerd's idea was the best.
even if it was an open discussion they can't make you write a paper into that much detail..its illegal
okay underwaterwhatever. it's not illegal but it's in no way appropriate for school.
Why? Because you can't handle learning about org**m? It's a fascinating and complex part of our physical reaction, and it's a shame that you are too immature to enjoy learning about it.
Perhaps if more schools professionally taught about sex and org**m, more women would have healthy sex lives.
okay, thanks, but I'm not immature if you directed that to me. and I'm not saying that it's not fascinating and complex. I'm saying that it's not a school teacher's place to educate kids about that sort of detail. I'm sure plenty of parents would be pissed to know that that was what their kids were learning about in school. obviously they'll know all about this on their own time when they have sex. sex ed in school is supposed to me a more general thing.
maybe they don't have healthy sex lives because they do it too carelessly when they're teenagers and by the time they're tied down to enjoy it with their husbands (who should be their firsts) it's just not the same. I don't know. but it's not my problem and if a teacher made me do that, I'd get my parents involved and I would not write that paper.
How can the physiology of the woman's org**m be inappropriate? Answer me that.
Not only that--but maybe if sex education weren't so general and incomplete, more people would have safe sex.
There are teenagers who think that you can't get pregnant if you have sex during a woman's menstrual cycle. Don't you think that sex education should have covered that sort of thing?
