Sex advice...is it from your actual personal experience?

Hello from IOWA Asked by adproone 8 months ago, 7 answers.

I am older than most of you. Some of the sex advice is right on and some is not. My question is most of you are 15 - 20...Have you experienced this first hand? Have you read up on it or been told about by friends? Our society has changed so much over...

the last decade or two, I am just blown away by what I read on here...any comments or thoughts? Thank you

No matter what I give advice on I always try to have :
1. Facts
2. My actual personal opinion and experience
3. If I am unsure on the facts I make it clear that I am (ex: I think ... I've heard etc)

I talk to my friends about a lot of things, one of them being sex. But what they seay I dont spread it around, because sex is a very special topic - if you know what I'm saying. I mean if you say the wrong thing - something can go terribly wrong.

And yes I have read up on it. I suscribe to info from the Mayoclinic (not sure I spelled it right) and a lot of the stuff there is about sex and what comes along with it.
In school it has been like this:
Grade 6: We learn about puberty, the differences between a girl and a boy and that stuff
Grade 8: We learn more about how puberty and sex have a connection.
Grade 10: We learn about being ready for sex; being mentally, emotionally, physically ready for sex. Pregnancy, STDs, protection, the development from being one cell to a fullgrown human.

I'm in grade 10 now so I dont know what comes next. But I feel I have by society been taught about sex, even though I do not have personal experience. So I ofc dont give advice from a personal point of view, but if there are qs on how your baby is in the 26th week - there I can help with facts.

Thanks for posting this question happy

I am also blown away by what I read on here and I hope that atleast half of it is just fake and for entertainment purpose only.
I am 33 and some of the advice I read on hear I could just fall out of my chair. However without trying to sound evil, I can only give my advice and weather they take it or not I can't do anything about it. My life will still go on no matter what a teenager does on this site. I think they will realize one day that no one really cares. What I mean by this is it is your life and YOU have to make the best of it. NO one is going to go out of there way to make sure you are happy every single day of your life. It is YOUR life and weather the choose to screw it up or do the right thing will not effect me at all. ( not directly effect me)
I can only hope that they are really not doing all the stupid things they ask about on here.

I only choose questions that I know I have facts on and feel I can answer to the best of my ability. I don't guess about things just to answer a question because I think about that person that I am writing to and what I would want to hear if I were them.

I have experienced most of it myself, yes. I'm 16 and already feel I know quite abit from what I've already done and seen for myself.

I try to be as helpful as possible.
Things have changed, I think MOST teenagers today are smarter, more sensible and mature about certain subjects, including sex etc, than they were before.. I say most!

I try and give advice to help people. I'm sick of kids saying they are bored of masturbating and then people saying just go out and have sex. It's sick.
